Post Pandemic Revival of South Glengarry Business and Community Awards Gala
Overwhelming support from local South Glengarry businesses sponsoring the 2022 Business and Community Awards Gala surpass numbers seen in the past seventeen years. This local tradition began in 2005, providing an opportunity for Township citizens to nominate local businesses, groups or individuals deserving of recognition for their business excellence, customer service or contribution to their community.
“Being a newcomer at the Township Office, tasked with planning the first Awards Gala since the Pandemic, I really wanted this year’s event to be successful,” said Economic Development Officer, Jennifer Treverton. “As the number of local businesses sponsoring the Gala continued to rise, I thought, what a wonderful and supportive community!”
The 14th edition of the South Glengarry Business and Community Awards Gala is being held on Saturday, September 24th in the Tartan Hall, at the Char-Lan Recreation Centre. Cocktail will be served 6-7:00pm, with dinner and awards to follow.
