CORNWALL, Ontario – Tanya Deeks was appointed Head Coach of the St. Lawrence College (SLC) cross-country program on Tuesday, July 24.
Deeks, who represented Canada at the World Cross Triathlon Championships in 2015 and 2017, has been involved in competitive sports for many years. She has competed in seven Ironman distance races and 15 Ironman half distance races. Working as the SLC cross-country Head Coach in Cornwall since 2013, Deeks is excited to be a part of a tri-campus team.
“I am very excited to work with our cross-country coaching staff and athletes in this transition to build a more competitive tri-campus team,” said Deeks.
The annual cross-country season will begin on Sept. 15 at Fanshawe College in London, ON.
