CORNWALL, Ontario – The Cornwall Nationals have announced that they have had to cancel their road game on Sunday night against the St. Clair Shores Fighting Saints.

Cornwall’s Federal Hockey League (FHL) team cited bus issues as the reason for the cancellation.

"Cornwall had bus issues on Sunday morning and could not make the 800-km trip to Michigan," the team said in a statement. "The Nationals are back on home ice next weekend with a pair of contests at the Ed Lumley Arena in the Civic Complex."

There was no word on how those who bought tickets to the Jan. 22 game could be reimbursed.
