Roster takes shape for River Kings
All-star goaltender Loic Lacasse will be guarding the net again this season as the River Kings hit the ice under new leadership.

CORNWALL, Ontario – Cornwall River Kings fans are celebrating the return of enforcer Chris Cloutier.

The Ligue nord-américaine de hockey (LNAH) team has officially signed 14 players to their third season lineup, including both new faces and fan-favourites.

General manager Rick Lalonde has locked down all-star goaltender Loic Lacasse, defencemen Sasha Pokulok and Nik Pokulok, and veteran forwards Francis Lessard, Nicolas Corbeil, Pierre-Luc Faubert, Julien Corriveau, and J.P. Caron.

In addition, rookies Antony Courcelles, Julien Houle and Patrick Langlois, as well as defencemen Mario Joly, Jonathan Jasper, Ryan Sullivan and Doug Andress have also joined the team.

More signings are scheduled to be announced. There are still roster spots up for grabs.

The River Kings hit the ice in Laval for their first exhibition against the Predators on Friday, Sept. 19.

Both teams will be facing off again at the civic complex on Sunday, Sept. 21. The puck drops at 4 p.m.
