CORNWALL, Ontario - For many, the unknown can be a source of constant anxiety. Sometimes, a second opinion is all it takes to put our minds at ease.

Luckily for Cornwallites, the Psychic Fair was in town this weekend to provide the answers to some of our life questions.

Hosted at Best Western Parkway Inn, a diverse group of clairvoyants were on-hand at this year’s Psychic Fair. Taking place from Sept. 29-Oct.l 1, the event offered guidance from numerous psychics, mediums and healers.

Clairvoyant tarot card reader, Sandra says that people often come to these types of events with to learn more about themselves and their life path.

“Quite often, people tend to tuck away parts of themselves,” said Sandra. “When you’re having a reading done, you can’t hide anything from yourself.”

Sandra has been reading cards for over 30 years, and says that there are a lot of misconceptions about what having a reading entails.

“It’s so much more than people expect,” said Sandra. “People go through many things, and it’s not that we don’t see it, but when somebody else speaks the words – that’s when we tend to listen.”

Sandra says that the most important thing to consider when attending these types of events is to come with an open mind.

“You’re never going to be worse-off from having a reading done,” said Sandra. “We’re our best advisors, but often, we don’t listen to ourselves.”
