CORNWALL, Ontario – As a result of an ongoing investigation by the CPS Street Crime Unit, three individuals of Cornwall were arrested on Wednesday, March 13th, 2019 and charged as follows:
Shawnna Chartrand, 26
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking methamphetamine
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking crystal methamphetamine
Anthony Delciancio, 40
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking methamphetamine
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking crystal methamphetamine
- Breach of probation (for failing to keep the peace)
Ryan Royer, 25
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking methamphetamine
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking crystal methamphetamine
- Possession of property obtained by crime
- Breach of probation (for failing to keep the peace)
- Breach of probation (for possessing drugs)
It is alleged during a traffic stop, the individuals named above were found to be in possession of a quantity of methamphetamine pills and crystal methamphetamine.
One man was also found to be in possession of a quantity of Canadian currency. All three individuals were taken into custody and charged accordingly.
Anthony Delciancio and Shawnna Chartrand were released to appear in court on April 23, 2019, and Ryan Royer was held for a bail hearing.
