Cornwall, Ontario – Focus Art hosted its 2024 Spring Art Exhibition from April 18 to 21 and again from April 25 to 28 at the Cornwall Square. This non-juried show brought together over 30 local artists who displayed 81 pieces of artworks, alongside 48 pieces by high school students from CCVS, La Citadelle, Holy Trinity, and St. Lawrence Secondary School. With over 400 visitors in just the first week, the event, supported by the Cornwall Square, Your Arts Council, The Cline House Gallery, and Cornwall Lighting, was a clear success.

Claudine L. Trottier, the President of Focus Art since 2021, expressed her enthusiasm: “Going into our second week, we’ve already had over 400 visitors, and they’ve really enjoyed the show. They discover we have a lot of talent in this area. We have artists from SDG, as far as Iroquois, Alexandria, Bainsville, and of course, a lot from Cornwall.” Attendees had the opportunity to purchase art, vote for their favorite piece. The winner of the People’s Choice will receive a $50 gift card from Cline House Gallery, and one lucky voter will also snag a prize.
