Cornwall, Ontario – On Saturday, April 20th, Montreal-based artist Giuseppe Di Leo hosted an interactive guided tour of his solo exhibition, “Pilgrimage: Seeking Connection,” at Cline House Gallery. The event offered art enthusiasts a chance to converse with and delve into Di Leo’s creative process and the intricate details of his works.

Di Leo, born in Italy and raised in Montreal, has dedicated over four decades to refining his craft, primarily drawing. “Drawing is my visual expression,” said Di Leo, who uses his art to navigate daily experiences and explorations.

The exhibition’s theme revolved around a journey of self-actualization, integrating past and current works that highlight nature, climate, and environmental issues. “The exhibition is a pilgrimage where things do come together. The memories of these moments are reenacted within this exploration,” Di Leo shared. Attendees could engage directly with Di Leo and gain insights into how these complex themes are woven into his art.
