CORNWALL, Ontario – On Monday, Dec. 17 the OSPCA of SDG announced a goal to find homes for 23 pets before the end of the year.

Since Nov. 1 of this year, 121 pets have been adopted in the community through the OSPCA iAdopt for the Holidays campaign, supported by Royal Canin. Last year, over 4,000 pets were adopted across Canada through the campaign.

“If you’ve been thinking of adopting a pet, give a homeless animal the gift of a loving family to call their own,” said Carol Link, Manager of SDG OSPCA. “With people having time off from work and being home together as a family, the holidays are a great time to welcome a new furry companion and help them get settled.”

When adopting a pet through the campaign, adopters are automatically entered to win free pet food for a year, provided by Royal Canin. If you already own an adopted pet, you still have the chance to win weekly prize packs by posting a photo of your pet with the hashtag #iAdopt, tagging @Ontario SPCA.
