CORNWALL, Ontario – Monday, Feb. 19 is Family Day in the province of Ontario. Most businesses and provincial and municipal services will be closed.
– Garbage in the City of Cornwall will be pushed back one day. There will be no garbage collection on Monday, Feb. 19. Garbage that was to be collected that day will be collected on Tuesday. Garbage that was to be collected on Tuesday, will be collected on Wednesday and so-on.
– There will be no Cornwall Transit service on Family Day, Monday Feb. 19.
– City Hall will be closed.
– The Cornwall Public Library will be open from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
– The following grocery stores will be closed for Family Day: Food Basics, No Frills, Baxtrom’s Your Independent Grocer.
– The LCBO and the Beer Store will be closed.
– The Cornwall Square will be closed.
– Shopper’s Drug Mart on Brookdale Ave. will be open.
