In a vibrant display of unity and solidarity, the Chalk the Walk initiative returned to Cornwall, Ontario, on October 18, 2023. Organized by the Sexual Assault Support Services for Women of SDG&A, the event aimed to raise awareness and show unwavering support for survivors of gender-based violence through the medium of chalk artistry.

The sidewalks of Cornwall were transformed into a picturesque canvas of empowerment as local organizations lent their artistic talents and voices to this meaningful cause. Among the participants were Diversity/Diversité Cornwall (pictured here), the Cornwall Police Service, and the Boys and Girls Club. Participants expressed their commitment to eradicating gender-based violence and creating a safer and more inclusive community for all.
