Three people have been charged with various weapons charges after Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police offices confiscated about 200 rounds of restricted handgun ammunition in the early hours of April 2 on Highway 401 in South Dundas.
The arrests were made when officers stopped a vehicle for speeding.
Joel Benjamin, 32, of Toronto, 32, Alrick Ennis, 40, of Windsor, and Ashley Martinez-Parsad, 30, face several charges, including possession for the purpose of weapons trafficking.
