CORNWALL, Ontario – The CPS Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit recently conducted an investigation into a man being in possession of child pornography. As a result of the ongoing investigation, in November 2019, members of the ICE Unit and Criminal Investigation Division executed a search warrant at the man’s residence.
As a result of the investigation, Johnny Sawatis, 33, of Cornwall was arrested on Tuesday, Dec. 10 and charged with possession of child pornography.
He was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and released to appear in court on January 9, 2020.
