CORNWALL, Ontario – The Rotary Club is gearing up for their annual Pancake Breakfast on March 23.
Taking place from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. at St. John’s Presbyterian Church, for more than 40 years, the Rotary Pancake Breakfast has been serving up great food and a sense of community for hundreds of people.
Last year, the event saw over 500 people attend and raised $7,000 for the Rotary Club and their projects.
“This event brings awareness to what the Rotary Club does,” said Rotarian Julie Leroux. “There is good food, for $5 and you get to meet Rotarians and see what we do.”
“We have a lot of fun doing it,” said Rotarian Tom Wallace. “You get to re-acquaint yourself with a lot of Rotary Friends.”
Food is provided by El-Ca Foods, Cardinal & Son Wholesale Meat and New Cornwall Fruit.
The event will have a silent auction with 142 items including a new bike and season Cornwall Colt tickets.
