CORNWALL, Ontario – A 15-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on March 7, 2019 and charged with the following:
- Robbery with violence
- Theft of a motor vehicle
- Breach of recognizance for being absent from his education program
- Breach of probation for failing to keep the peace
- Breach of undertaking for failing to keep the peace
It is alleged on March 7, 2019, the youth assaulted a woman known to him and took her motor vehicle without permission. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, the youth was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as per provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
