Cornwall, Ontario – The 2nd Annual Youth Entrepreneurship in Action Event, held at Aultsville Theatre on April 11, 2024, was a resounding success. Despite a date change due to weather and MPP Nolan Quinn’s absence, students were treated to a video message from the Cornwall Dairy Queen owner.

Shannon Ferguson, Founder and CEO of FanSaves, shared her thoughts about participating, stating, “I had a great time speaking at this event and it was really nice to see so many engaged young people attending. Being able to share my journey in my hometown is extra special and was such a full circle experience.”

The event, organized by the Cornwall SDG Business Enterprise Centre, also marked the official launch of the region’s Summer Company Program. Tracy O’Brien, Superintendent of Education at CDSBEO, and Jennifer Haley, Dean at St. Lawrence College, expressed their support for nurturing young entrepreneurs.
