15-year-old arrested in South Glengarry for driving a stolen car

SOUTH GLENGARRY, Ontario – On Nov. 26, 2018, at approximately 10:11 a.m., members of SD&G OPP responded to a traffic complaint and intercepted a stolen car on Hwy 401, South Glengarry, Ontario. The investigation revealed that a male youth was in possession of a stolen car from Toronto, ON.

A 15 year-old male of Toronto, ON was arrested and charged with;

– Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000

He was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall on Dec. 20, 2018. The name of the accused is being withheld in accordance with the Youth Criminal Justice Act (YCJA).
