CORNWALL, Ontario – A three vehicle collision that temporarily closed part of Pitt St. the afternoon of Thursday, July 20 may result in charges.
The accident occurred just after 2:30 p.m. and involved two SUVs and another four door vehicle.
The four door car collided with an on-coming SUV at the base of the overpass that goes over the train tracks after the Pitt St. and Emma intersection.
Both of those vehicles received severe damage in that collision.
Police, Fire Services and paramedics all responded to the scene, but it is unknown at this time what, if any, injuries resulted.
Cst. Dan Cloutier of the Cornwall Community Police Service did tell Seaway News that an investigation is ongoing and that he believed that charges were pending.
