CORNWALL, Ontario – Jacob Cook, 42, of Cornwall was arrested on Jan. 21, 2019 and charged with theft under $5,000, breach of undertaking and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace.
It is alleged on Jan. 19, 2019, the man attended a Water Street business and removed merchandise, making no attempt to pay for the item as he left the store. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On Jan. 21, 2019, the man was located by police. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
