CORNWALL, Ontario – Arts in the Park is back providing free, family entertainment until the end of August. This year’s lineup includes a wide variety of programs — from Shakespeare, to concerts, to movies.

Opening week kicked off on Wednesday, July 4 with Seaway Winds Concert Band. For the opening weekend, Shakespeare in the Park — Romeo and Juliet: Love is Love will take place on Saturday, July 7 and Sunday, July 8. The Clarpian Duo is also set to perform at 2 p.m. on July 8.

“We are so proud to offer another excellent lineup of entertainers at Lamoureux Park this summer,” said Lorne Taillon, Leisure Arts Coordinator, in a press release.

The shows will be held outdoors at the Lion’s Club Bandshell in Lamoureux Park. Performances will start at 7 p.m. unless noted otherwise, weather permitting. Donations are always appreciated to offset programming costs.

Attendees are asked to bring a chair, blanket and refreshments for themselves.

More dates will be added at a later time. For more information, contact Lorne Taillon at 613-938-9898 x 2 or ltaillon@cornwall.ca.
