CORNWALL, Ontario – A 14-year-old female was arrested on Sept. 13 and charged with the following:
– Assault
– Assault of a police officer
– Breach of probation for failing to keep the peace
While police were investigating an unrelated matter on Sept. 13, the youth assaulted a woman known to her and a police officer. An investigation then ensued.
During the investigation, the youth was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released. She will appear in court at a later date.
Her name was not released in accordance with the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
