Two arrested for break and enter, robbery in North Glengarry

NORTH GLENGARRY, Ontario – On July 11, 2019 at approximately 5:56 a.m., members of the SDG OPP responded to a robbery in a residence on Kenyon Concession Rd. 8 in North Glengarry Township.

The investigation has determined that two individuals, wearing disguises, broke into the residence and held the victim against his will. The suspects then stole items from the house before fleeing in a vehicle.

Officers responding to the call located the vehicle a short distance away with the victim inside. The culprits had since left the scene. The victim was not injured.

On July 12, Scott JULIEN, aged 30, of Cornwall, was arrested and charged with:

– Robbery with weapon

– Disguise with intent

– Forcible confinement

– Possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose

– Break and enter

– Fail to comply with conditions of a probation order ( two counts)

On July 11, 2019 Wanda ASHFORD, aged 23, of Cornwall, was arrested and charged with:

– Robbery with intent

– Break and enter

– Fail to comply with conditions of a recognizance

– Conspiracy to commit indictable offence

 

Both were held in custody (bail) pending an appearance at Cornwall Court.
