SOUTH DUNDAS, Ontario – On October 20, 2017 Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to the scene of a two (2) vehicle fatal collision on County Road 2 and County Road 31 intersection in South Dundas Township.

Investigation has indicated that at approximately 2:28pm, a passenger vehicle was travelling eastbound on County Road 2, South Dundas Township when for reasons under investigation, the eastbound passenger vehicle collided with a westbound motorcycle in the westbound lane of the roadway.

The adult male driver Ronald TAILLEFER (77) of North Glengarry of the westbound motorcycle was pronounced deceased at the hospital.

The eastbound female driver (18) (lone occupant) was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

SD&G OPP, assisted by OPP Traffic Collision Investigators (TCI) continue to investigate.
