CORNWALL, Ontario – Most stores will be closed during this Labour Day Monday, Sept. 3.
Here is a guide to what is open and closed this weekend:
· There will be no garbage and recycling collection on Monday. Households who normally have collection on Monday should set their waste out on Tuesday morning for pickup.
· There will be no bus service on Monday, and Cornwall Transit offices will be closed.
· The City Landfill will be closed on Monday.
· The Civic Complex Main Office will be closed Monday, but the box office will open at noon.
· The Benson Centre will be open normal hours this weekend and Monday.
· The Aquatic Centre remains closed as staff continue annual maintenance.
· All LCBOs and The Beer Store locations will be closed Monday, but operate during their normal business hours on Saturday and Sunday.
· The Cornwall Square and Shoppers Drug Mart located at the mall will be closed Monday, but open normal hours Saturday and Sunday.
· All other Shoppers Drug Marts in the city will remain open on Monday.
· Your Independent Grocer and all Food Basics locations will be closed this Monday, but operate during regular hours on Saturday and Sunday.
