WARRANT
Cornwall, ON – Barbara Zappa, 59, of Cornwall, was arrested on April 29, 2024, on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged the woman failed to comply with an undertaking. A warrant was issued for her arrest. On April 29, 2024, the woman attended police headquarters to address the matter. The warrant was executed and she was released to appear in court on May 7, 2024.
SHOPLIFTING
Cornwall, ON – Rachelle Mayer, 38, of Cornwall, was arrested on April 29, 2024, and charged with theft under $5,000. It is alleged on April 12, 2024, the woman attended a Ninth Street West business, selected merchandise and left the store without making an attempt to pay for the items. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On April 29, 2024, the woman attended police headquarters to address the matter. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on June 13, 2024.
