THEFT UNDER $5,000

Cornwall, ON – Jamie-Lee Corrigan, 38, of Cornwall, was arrested on May 13, 2024, and charged with theft under $5,000. It is alleged on April 27, 2024, the woman stole items from an individual known to her. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On May 13, 2024, the woman attended police headquarters to deal with a separate matter. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on June 18, 2024.

 

SHOPLIFTING

Cornwall, ON – Ryan Grignon-Paquette, 29, of Cornwall, was arrested on May 13, 2024, and charged with five counts of theft under $5,000. It is alleged:

  • On Dec. 21, 2023, the man attended a Second Street East business, selected merchandise and left the store without making an attempt to pay for the items.
  • On April 11, 2024, the man attended a Ninth Street West business, selected merchandise and left the store without making an attempt to pay for the items.
  • On April 14, 2024, the man attended a Ninth Street West business, selected merchandise and left the store without making an attempt to pay for the items.
  • On April 24, 2024, the man attended a Ninth Street West business, selected merchandise and left the store without making an attempt to pay for the items.
  • On April 27, 2024, the man attended a Ninth Street West business, selected merchandise and left the store without making an attempt to pay for the items.

Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On May 13, 2024, the man attended police headquarters to address the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on June 18, 2024.
