CORNWALL, Ontario – The Moose Lodge in Cornwall, 1367, held a fundraiser on Saturday, Feb. 23 to raise funds for a new backdoor and other clubhouse repairs.
The fundraiser was a Drag Queen fashion show with seven queens sporting their best styles while dancing to some tunes.
“Somebody just brought it up and we did it before, so we thought, why not do it again,” said Anthony, the administrator at the lodge.
Money was raised through donations from guests, and dinner for the evening was donated by the Lodge’s past governor.
The fun did not stop at the fashion show however. The party continued into the night with live musical entertainment provided by the Billy Gabriel Band.
