Cornwall, Ontario – The Cornwall Colts were down 2-0 in their playoff series against the Smiths Falls Bears. However, the Colts showed resilience in Game 3 on April 9, securing a 4-1 victory in Smiths Falls. Nathan Garnier, Ehtan Montroy, and Bradley Fraser (who netted two goals) led the scoring for the Colts. Goalie Xander Miceli was instrumental in the win, stopping 31 of 32 shots.

The momentum carried into Game 4 at the Ed Lumley Arena on April 11, where the Colts fought hard to even the series. Bradley Fraser continued his scoring streak with two more goals, and Ethan Montroy contributed with a goal assisted by Fraser. Colts took a 3-2 lead early in the third, but Quinn Booth tied it up for the Bears, and Trevor Faucher tallied the OT winner, giving the Bears a commanding 3-1 series lead and putting the Colts on the brink of elimination.
