CORNWALL, Ontario – The City of Cornwall is lifting its garbage bag limit for next week.
From Dec. 30 to Jan. 4 residents will be allowed to put out extra bags of garbage beyond the usual six bag limit. No bulk items, like beds will be accepted.
The City of Cornwall imposed a six bag garbage limit earlier this year in April.
“The City of Cornwall hopes additional bags will allow residents to manage post-Christmas waste more effectively,” the City states on their website.
Christmas trees will be collected on Jan. 6
