CORNWALL, Ontario – Yvon Lavergne, 61, was arrested on Tuesday, Feb. 5 and charged with the following:
Take motor vehicle without consent
Fail to stop at the scene of an accident
It is alleged the suspect took someone’s vehicle without permission and struck another vehicle in the area of Third St. and Sydney St.
The man was located a short distance away after police were contacted to investigate.
He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on March 14.
