CORNWALL, Ontario – SD&G OPP are searching for answers after a dog attack left a man with 30 stitches just north of South Mountain.

According to police, the incident occurred on September 17 at about 2:06 p.m. on Cameron Road.

The North Dundas man’s leisurely stroll turned into a nightmare. Two scruffy, long-haired white dogs bolted at him. The barking, snapping canines attacked the man and bit him several times on his arms and legs.

“Fortunately he was able to walk to a friend’s house and call for help,” said SD&G OPP Const. Tyler Copeland.

The man was taken to hospital for his injuries.
