High speeds in South Stormont and Dundas

UNITED COUNTIES OF SD&G, Ontario – Over the past weekend, SD&G OPP officers conducting speed measuring enforcement in the Counties of Stormont and Dundas intercepted the following vehicles for traveling at excessive speeds.

In all stops, the vehicle was impounded and the driver’s permit seized for seven (7) days in accordance to policy.

– April 28, 2017 – 7:05pm (Highway 401 – South Dundas Township); vehicle stopped travelling 173km/h (100km/h zone). Male driver (45) from Toronto, Ontario charged accordingly.

– April 29, 2017 – 9:15pm (Highway 401 – South Stormont Township); vehicle stopped travelling 151km/h (100km/h zone). Male driver (30) from Montreal, Quebec charged accordingly.

– April 29, 2017 – 11:01pm (Highway 401 – South Dundas Township); vehicle stopped travelling 199km/h (100km/h zone). Male driver (26) from Halifax, Nova Scotia charged accordingly.
