CORNWALL, Ontario – A Cornwall man landed himself in the slammer after smacking his teenaged girlfriend with a set of brass knuckles.
City police allege the 21-year-old man was involved in an argument with his 18-year-old girlfriend when she was struck with the weapon.
The man was charged with assault with a weapon, unauthorised possession of a weapon and four counts of breach of probation. On Dec. 3 the man was located at his residence, taken into custody and held for a bail hearing.
His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
