CORNWALL. Ontario – A man who had his four-wheeler roll over on top of him Tuesday on Brookdale Avenue was taken to hospital with unknown injuries.
Witnesses driving by the scene at the north end of the busy city street said the man could be seen trapped under the machine for a time.
“I drove by and saw legs kicking as if the four-wheeler was crushing him,” said Brandon Quenneville. “About six cars had pulled over as I was driving by.”
The man was conscious and speaking with paramedics when he was loaded into the ambulance.
The rollover appeared to happen in a grassy area on the north part of the road, adjacent to the ditch.
The man was transported to Cornwall Community Hospital with what police Const. Dan Cloutier said was unknown injuries.
It’s unclear what prompted the roll-over, which took place near an RV dealership at the north end of Brookdale.
