CORNWALL, Ontario – Thousands of dollars in suspected crack cocaine has been taken off the streets in South Dundas, according to Ontario Provincial Police (OPP).
OPP were called to a home on County Road 31 at 2 a.m. Friday to deal with a “verbal argument between family members.”
The incident quickly escalated into a major drug bust.
While responding to the report of a family dispute, officers allegedly found 114 grams of crack cocaine from a 24-year-old female at the residence.
The street value of the substance is estimated at $10,000.
The woman was arrested and is charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.
She was released and scheduled to appear in Morrisburg court on July 8.
