CORNWALL, Ontario – Bereaved Families Ontario – Cornwall & Area hosted their third annual Spaghetti Supper on Saturday, July 14, starting at 5:30 p.m.
The event was held at the Cornwall Legion, and featured live entertainment from the Foxx Boys, dessert sponsored by Cayer Motor Sales and a dance to end the evening. Tickets were $20.
“It began because we lost some of our funding, so we needed to create different fundraisers,” said Gisèle Roy, Program Coordinator with Bereaved Families.
According to Roy, Bereaved Families primarily relies on fundraisers and donations to continue programs. Roy is thankful that the Legion makes the Spaghetti Supper an easy event as they provide the dinner.
“We appreciate everyone’s support because fundraising is very important,” said Roy.
