THE NAME SAYS IT ALL: ‘Thunder’ rolls…right into jail
Cornwall Community Police Service (CCPS) blotter update.

CORNWALL, Ontario – With a name like this, perhaps there is little debate as to why he’s facing a personation charge.

Rolling Thunder Jock, 22, of Hogansburg N.Y., was arrested by Cornwall police Wednesday on an outstanding warrant dating back to Jan. 21, 2010.

It’s alleged that a man failed to appear for court years ago while facing a charge of personation.

Police took Rolling Thunder Jock into custody at the Cornwall port of entry and held him for a bail hearing.

Violent confrontation leads to charges

A local man was attacked by a 21-year-old Cornwall woman near Louisa Street Wednesday.

Cornwall police say she grabbed the 25-year-old man by his shirt and proceeded to jump on his back as he tried to walk away.

The alleged attacker and the victim knew each other.

When cops arrived at the scene the woman was still up in arms.

Samantha Derouchie was taken to police headquarters, charged with assault and causing a disturbance, and later released to appear in court on October 2.
