CORNWALL, Ontario – Brookdale Ave. was closed late last night after a watermain broke right in front of Shoeless Joes.
The major traffic route was close to all but light traffic and completely closed in front of Shoeless Joes while city crews did their work.
As of time of reporting, the hole had been filled and all that was left to do was apply a layer of asphalt. The City of Cornwall expects Brookdale to re-open sometime this evening.
