Chicago Wolves overcome early deficit, double up Toronto Marlies 4-2

TORONTO — The Chicago Wolves overcame an early deficit by scoring four unanswered goals in a 4-2 win over the Toronto Marlies in the American Hockey League Saturday.

C.J. Smith and Stefan Noesen had a goal and an assist for the division-leading Wolves (36-10-5-5), with Ryan Suzuki and Josh Leivo getting the other goals. Andrew Poturalski had three assists.

Goalie Alex Lyon made 20-of-22 saves for Chicago’s first win against Toronto this season.

Semyon Der-Arguchintsev and Brett Seney scored first-period goals for the Marlies (27-21-3-1). Alex Steeves had two helpers and Michael Hutchinson made 27 saves.

Toronto led 2-0 after eight minutes of play before the Wolves battled back. They scored two in the first to tie it 2-2 and another two in the third period.
