CORNWALL, Ontario – The Cornwall Gymnastics Club held their biannual craft sale at Holy Trinity high school on Saturday, May 4, 2019.

This is the fourth year that the club has been organizing this fundraiser.

As the Cornwall Gymnastics Club is a non-profit, all the money raised is reinvested back into the club.

Christie Hollingsworth, board member with the Cornwall Gymnastics Club hoped that Saturday’s event would raise around $4,500.

That money will be used for a new set of exercise bars, balance beams and crash mats.

There were 80 vendors at the event, all local. Vendors included Button Up Jewelry, Mean Mommy Designs, Country Sweet by Sabrina, Sweetlegs Cornwall with Melissa and many more.

“We are trying to raise much needed funds to purchase new equipment to provide more services to our young athletes,” reads a statement on the Cornwall Gymnastics Club website. “At CGC, it is important to us that our athletes grow to their fullest potential in sport, and it is our primary focus to provide them with the best and safest equipment on the market.”
