Young Cornwall teen a world kickboxing champion

CORNWALL, Ontario – A young Cornwall girl has made it to the pinnacle of her sport – and she’s just 13 years old.

Emily Vallance has returned home from Ireland as the World Kickboxing champion for her age group.

It marks the first occasion such an honour has been bestowed on a resident of the Seaway City.

Vallance is a Canadian champion, who won gold at the national competition back in May.
