ROBITAILLE, Soeur Elaine - Paisiblement à l'Hospice Cornwall le mardi 22 juillet 2014. Soeur Elaine Robitaille c.s.c. de Cornwall à l'âge de 86 ans. Elle était avec la Congrégation Soeurs de Sainte-Croix pour 69 ans. Elle fut prédécédée par ses parents, Alric Robitaille et Gertrude (Grace) Robitaille. Outre sa famille religieuse, elle laisse dans le deuil 4 frères, Bob (Marg), Joey, Paul et John Robitaille et 3 soeurs, Peg Beausoleil, Judy Michaud et Brenda Bourdeau. Elle fut prédécédée par 4 frères, Hugh, Charles, Douglas et Gordon ainsi que 2 soeurs, Angèle et Joan. Soeur Elaine était éducatrice avec le Diocèse d'Alexandria-Cornwall pour plusieurs années. Après sa retraite elle était dirigée vers la Haïti pour une Mission de 11 ans. Following her retirement, her Mission was directed to Haïti where she spent 11 years. Born in Bourget in 1917, where she created many happy childhood memories, she then moved to Cornwall where she raised her own family and touched all who knew her with her generosity, kindness and joie-de-vivre. She is survived by many who had the privilege of knowing her love including her loving children; her son Bernard Rose (his wife Carolyn Quig) of Brossard, QC and her daughter Ginette Merizzi (her husband Pierre) of Cornwall, ON.
