LEGAULT, Eugene Joseph - (1929-2016) - Suddenly and peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family, on Friday, September 23, 2016, at the age of 88 years. Beloved husband of 63 years, to Lola (Manion) and father to Andre (Susan), Suzanne, Gerald and Michel (Lynn). Loving grandfather to Marc (Kirsten), Adele (Roman), Christine, Marie-Claire (Simon), Luc, Annette, Rita, Catherine and Helena. Proud great grandfather to Ryker, Cien (Marc) Ryker, Mira, Ondra (Adele) and Nellie (Marie-Claire). He will sadly be missed by his brothers; Lucien, Florian, Richard, Reynald and sisters Jeannine and Jacqueline (predeceased) and many wonderful nieces and nephews. Eugene served as Grand Knight, of the Knights of Columbus (Council 11531) at St Francis de Sales Church and planned a multitude of fundraising events for local schools and charities. He and Lola organized the St Francis de Sale's Wednesday afternoon Bridge Club. GUINDON, Donald - January 13, 1949 - September 18, 2016. With great sadness the family of Donald Guindon born in Maxville, Ontario announces his passing on September 18, 2016 at the age of 67 years. Retired member of the RCMP. Beloved husband of Euzavina (Tina). Loving father of Lisa (Steve) and Lynn (Derek). Dear grandfather (Pappy) of Cameron, Bryson and Avery. MACDONALD, MARY ANN (1932-2016) Peacefully at her home in Alexandria, Ontario, Mary Ann MacDonald (nee Howard) passed away on September 20, 2016, surrounded by her family. A native of Montreal, Mary was predeceased by her beloved husband John MacDonald and by her brothers David and Ned and her sister Regina. Left to mourn are her children Regina (Michael Farrell), John, Lesley, Lisa, and David (Kerry Fox); and her grandchildren Greg (Brittany), Michael, Cassie (Nathan), Claire, John, Patrick, Callie and David. Mary is also survived by her sister-in-law, Mary Pitman MacDonald, brother-in-law Alec Peters and many nieces and nephews. CHARLEBOIS, Rodolphe "Rudy" – Passed away at the Glen Stor Dun Lodge on Sunday, September 18, 2016. Rodolphe Charlebois of Cornwall, World War II Veteran; age 91 years. Beloved husband of Doris Mary (Lalonde) Charlebois. Loving father of Linda Oathwaite (Patrick) of Cornwall and Joanne Snetsinger (James) of Prince George B.C. Cherished grandfather of Erin McNeil (Ken), Tara Lafrance (Andre), Andrew Snetsinger (Karlee), Paige Butterfield (Simon) and great- grandfather of Allison, Annika, Shannon and Jennifer. Dear son of the late Oliver Charlebois and the late Agnes (Bergeron) Charlebois. Predeceased by five sisters Antoinette Butler, Dorene Villeneuve, Pauline Ryan, Olive McDonald, Rita Labelle and two brothers George and Gervais Charlebois. Rudy was a member of; the Knights of Columbus Council 755-3rd degree, R.C.A.F. Wing 6th group Bomber Command, 425 squadron, Rank F.O. He was the proud pilot of the Halifax Bomber. The Halifax was the second of the four-engined heavy bombers to enter service with the Royal Air Force. He was always very active in his community, assisting with the Figure skating club, P.T.A and Seniors Center. He was an avid golfer, bowler, card player and huge fan of his grandchildren attending all of their events that he could. AGER, Patricia Margaret - Patricia Margaret Ager, age 75 years of Westport, Ontario, passed away with many family and friends in attendance at the Kingston General Hospital at 7 pm on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 after her courageous battle with cancer. Loving partner and wife to Fred for 59 years. Mother of adoring son Ron and daughter Tracey. Sadly lost to grandchildren Rebecca, Amanda, Michael, Aaron and Hannah and recent great-granddaughter Anna. Predeceased by her father Fred Gourley and brothers Stephen and Michael. Survived by her mother Lowell (Steeves) and sisters Sylvia and Susan and brothers Andy and Mark. Greatly missed by spouses of son and daughter plus spouses of grandchildren many nieces and nephews and countless friends. Her accomplishments and achievements are very numerous and varied. Graduation with honors from Mac Donald College with an Urban Planning degree. Recipient of the Canada 125 Civic Award. Leadership roles in The Women's Institute, 4H, South Glengarry planning committee. Internationally acclaimed for research and activism in Waste Management Environmental contributions. Participation in the affairs of the Knox United Church, Bainsville. Pat shared a life of enjoyment of the natural beauties of life such as camping and canoeing. She often expressed her artistic side in wood and stone carving. She had a flair for landscape gardening and there seldom occurred a challenge that was beyond her ability. She had a huge kind and gentle heart and personality that drew people toward her. Her openness and generosity was boundless. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. BISSONNETTE, Suzanne - Peacefully with her family by her side on Monday, September 12, 2016; age 73 years. Loving wife, beloved best friend and constant companion of 47 years of René Bissonnette. BOUTHILLETTE, Bibiane (Gravel) - 93, formerly of Mattydale, NY, died Wednesday, September 14, 2016 in Jupiter, Florida. Bibiane was born in St. Isidore, Ontario, Canada, and resided in Cornwall for many years. She was the daughter of the late Clement and Germaine (Besner) Gravel. Bibiane moved to the Mattydale area in 1954 with her husband, Lucien. The two wintered in Florida for many years before Lucien's passing and Bibiane had recently relocated to Jupiter. She retired in 1975 after 15 years as an assembler for General Electric Heavy Military Division in Syracuse. Bibiane was a member of the New York State Old Tyme Fiddlers Association and the Oswego Valley Fiddlers Chapter for nearly a quarter of a century. She served as Vice President of the Oswego Valley Fiddlers. She was also a member of the Central New York Blue Grass Association. Fiddling was her main instrument of choice, but she also played other instruments, such as the piano, dulcimer and guitar. BiBi was instrumental in bringing old time fiddle tunes to the US from her place of birth, Canada. Bibiane was also a seamstress and made many of her clothes for performances of music and square dance. One such outfit can be seen at the Fiddlers' Hall of Fame and Museum in Osceola, New York. She shared her talents with so many and taught people how to enjoy life through her music, song and dance. In addition to her parents, Bibiane was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Lucien Bouthillette, in 2001, her siblings: Noella St. Pierre, Giselle Ayotte, Romain Gravel, and Simon Gravel, and by her grandson, Blake Cody Bartlett. She is survived by their two daughters: Claudine (Cody) Bartlett of Fairport, NY, and Nicole Bouthillette of Juno Beach, FL; and a great-granddaughter, Jordyn Bartlett. GOUSKOS, Stamatis  - It is with deep sadness that we inform of the recent death of Stamatis Gouskos, aged 69, residing in St. Isidore Ontario. On the evening of Sunday September 4th, at the Ottawa General Hospital, surrounded by family, Stamatis passed away, ending his long and difficult battle with cancer. MCBAIN, Alexander (Skip) - It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Skip McBain on September 2, 2016 at the age of 69. Skip was predeceased by his wife Jeannette (Dionne) in 2008, and he is survived by two children, daughter Tania (Derek) Fritz, grandchildren Taylor and Paige (Marlow), and great granddaughter Gracie; son Shaun (Christine) McBain, grandchildren Callum, Brendan and Alexa. Predeceased by his father, Alexander; mother Kathleen; sister Gail; brother Joseph, brother Allan, survived by brothers Dan (Shirley), Neil (Diane), Finlay (Kathy), sister Kathy Wills. Skip was born on December 11, 1946 in Chapleau, Ontario. He worked on the family farm in Martintown and Williamstown, At the age of 18, he joined the Air Force and transferred to Moose Jaw where he met his wife, Jeanette Dionne. They married on April 17, 1968 in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. They then moved to Dorval, QC and Lancaster, ON where Skip worked as an airplane technician. In the 1970's, they moved to Willow Bunch, Saskatchewan where Skip drove a fuel truck for the Co-op and ran an air conditioning business, Skip then started working for Sask Power in 1978 where he stayed until he retired in 2008. During this time he also worked for may years as an EMT for Coronach Health District. Skip spent many hours volunteering in the community. He coached hockey, and served the Town of Coronach for over 20 years (both as Councillor and then as Mayor). His interests were camping, the Saskatchewan Roughriders, the Coronach Merchants Hockey Club, and spending time with his family and grandchildren.
