ESDALE , William J. (Bill) - Aug. 18, 1939 - Sept. 25, 2015 Bill passed away peacefully at Credit Valley Hospital after a short battle with cancer. He is survived by his beloved soul-mate Penny, and by his children David and his wife Joanne; Stephen and his wife Michele; and Kirsten and her husband Jeff Tugman. Bill was also the proud grandfather to five granddaughters; Gabrielle, Georgia, Madison, Zoe and Mia whom he loved very much. Bill grew up on the family farm just outside Cornwall, Ont. where he had fond memories of playing hockey, hay loft shenanigans with his cousins and 4H club. Numbers and science fascinated him and he decided that his goal would be to feed the world. He attended Macdonald College before transferring to Cornell University to complete his B.Sc., followed by his Ph.D. in Diary Science. Upon graduation, Bill joined Miracle Feeds Division of Ogilvie Flour Mills as Director of Nutrition, and subsequently served Director of the Labatt's Research Farm in London, Ont., where he was instrumental in helping develop a feeding program using brewers' grains from the beer brewing programs around the world. In 1977 Bill joined STAKE Technology Limited as Vice President where he was involved in helping to develop and introduce the use of biomass equipment and materials for cattle feeding programs around the world. In 1995, Bill started Esdale Lawn Sprinklers with his son Stephen. Working closely together, they built the company's reputation and client base and in 2005, Bill retired and Stephen continues to operate the company. Bill was an avid traveler and he traveled the world extensively through work and for pleasure often planning exciting side adventures and usually with a few surprises along the way. In his later years, he became passionate about genealogy and history, often spending many hours researching and later recounting all he had discovered while sitting around the kitchen table. Bill was an enthusiastic baseball fan and a proud supporter of the Toronto Blue Jays. He planned many family vacations around visits to baseball parks across North America to catch a game and trips to historical museums and sites, combining his favourite things in one trip. Of all the places his life had taken him, his favourite destination was the Beach House in Castara, Tobago where he and Penny vacationed numerous times. He will be missed by all those who knew him.

LAUZON, Jean-Guy - would like to let you know that his work here is done. After a courageous battle with cancer he decided, on August 12th, that it was time to go on a permanent fishing trip. This trip comes with a huge advantage, a reunion with his mother (Yvette Lauzon) and father (Lionel Lauzon), who was a long time fishing partner. A romantic at heart, John always showed his love for his "lovely" with a little tap on the bum, kiss, poem in a card or a piece of jewelry. However, the best demonstration of his adoration for his wife is through the numerous times they renewed their vows. He wants his wife Kathy to know that he will be waiting to marry her yet again when she joins him. He will be sadly missed by friends and sorely missed and survived by his wife, Kathy Lauzon (née Caldwell), brother Michel Lauzon (Ginette), children Chantale Lauzon-Harris (Frank) and Elyse Lauzon-Alguire (Ross), grandchildren Llyr, Angelina and Philippe and his grand-dog Masey. I am desperately trying to find the Obituary for a very dear friend of mine. Her name was Rowan Russell and she lived near Launceston.

I am trying to find Lorraine Emond or Eamon's obituary. I believe she died in 2012 somewhere between April and June.
