ROMBOUGH, Fern Isabelle (Cummings) - Passed away at the Maxville Manor on Saturday, April 11, 2015, age 87 years. Loving wife of the late Berton Arnold Rombough. Dear mother of Dianne Rombough (Ted Lawes), Kirk Rombough (Gwen), Craig Rombough (Joanne) and Judy Maloney (Stephen). Born January 6, 1951 in Martintown, Ontario, she was the daughter of the late Wildfred Lauzon and Vera Rose Allinotte. She is predeceased by her sister Doris Leblanc husband Lional, predeceased brother William Lauzon wife Laura, predeceased by sisters Gladys Dorie husband Alcide, Paulette Primeau husband Henry. She is survived by her sister Amelia Geneau husband Armand, brother Raymond Lauzon wife Sue, sister Lillian Klazinga husband Fred, brother Louie Lauzon, brother Walter Lauzon wife Suzanne, sister Linda Lauzon husband Mark Latour. BOBKA, Judith Anne (Née Bush) - After a brief battle with an aggressive cancer - which she fought at each step of the way - Mrs. Judy Bobka age 74, passed away quietly on April 9, 2015 at Hospice Cornwall. Beloved wife of 53 years to Dan. Incredible mother of Sarah Bobka (Jamie Davidson). Loving & wonderful "Nanny" of Madison. Dear sister of Stephen Bush (Lynn) and Clint Bush (Nancy) both of Cornwall. Predeceased by her parents Lorne and Marie (Kinnear) Bush. Sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, cousins and large extended family. Proud retired teacher, coach, alumnus and advocate at Cornwall Collegiate & Vocational School. Dedicated volunteer and passionate community builder involved in local and provincial politics, as well as many local boards and organizations. In keeping with her wishes, Judy's body has been donated to science at Queen's University - and so, the teacher continues to teach. A celebration of Judy's life will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2015 in the CCVS cafetorium. BARKLEY, Margaret "Peggy" (née Hickey) U.E.L - The family of Peggy Barkley announces her peaceful passing on Thursday, April 9, 2015 at the Glen Stor Dun Lodge, where she had been a resident for the past three months. Born in Montreal on November 24, 1927; grew up in her beloved village of Aultsville, and tirelessly told of happy years there, and our family history, in her very entertaining and amusing stories. She was one of the original Lost Villages members, a proud United Empire Loyalist and a devoted UCW member at Knox-St. Paul's Church for many years and retired employee of Domtar. Peggy leaves behind 'her girls', Brenda Poirier (John) and Barbara Brazeau, both of Cornwall. Proud grandmother of four, Kristan (Shawn Flanagan), Dean Poirier, Adam and Amanda Brazeau (Kevin Hebert) and a loving "Big Nan" to ten great-grandchildren, Melanie, Matthew, Justin, McKensie, Kailey, Jonathan, Gavan, Zackary, Ireland, and Elizabeth. She is also survived by her brother Allen E. Hickey (Shirley) of St. Petersburg, FL., loved nieces and nephews, and dear life-long friend Mavis Nixon (Beckstead). APTHORP, Marie Claire (nee Macdonald) - 89 years old, entered into eternal peace on Tuesday, March 31st, 2015. She was born January 21, 1926, daughter of the late Attorney Donald A. Macdonald and Fernande Roy. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Keith Apthorp. She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her two sisters, Louise Sabourin and Beatrice Beaudry. COURVILLE, Laurence (nee Julien) - September 28, 1927 - April 2, 2015 With our hearts full of fond and loving memories, the Courville family announces the passing of their beloved mother, Laurence Courville. She passed away peacefully, surrounded by her children at St. Viateur Nursing Home, in the town of Limoges where she was born. A devoted wife and exceptional mother, Laurence was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Hector Courville (Finch/Chesterville). She is mother to Gary (Beverley Ward), Shirley (Gilbert Desjardins), Jack (Cynthia Simon-Ford), Richard (Kathleen Towers), Carol (Peter Fisher) and Julie (Harold Dyck). Laurence was the proud grandmother of twelve grandchildren and five step-grandchildren. Laurence is survived by her two younger brothers, Marcel (Mabel), Réjean (Georgette) and her sister in law, Fleurette Julien, all of Cornwall, Ontario. She is predeceased by her parents Wilfred Julien (1977) and Célima Poirier (1966) and older brothers Léo, Florian and Rhéal and sisters Thérèse Chisholm, Gèrmaine Gagnon, Berthe Gratton and Jeanne Julien. Friends and relatives are invited to the Brownlee Funeral Home at 18 Front Street in Finch, Ontario on Tuesday, April 7th from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday, April 8th, from 9 - 10:30 a.m. A Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m on Wednesday, April 8th at St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Finch, Ontario (Highway 43) followed by a celebration of her life luncheon.
