BURELLE, Pauline Noella - on Sunday March 22, 2015. Pauline (Lebrun) Burelle of Cornwall; age 72 years. Beloved wife of the late Gerard Burelle. Loving mother of Julie Brisebois (Rick) of Cornwall, Marc Burelle (Lisa) of Bainsville and Yves Burelle (Barbara) of Cornwall. McARTHUR, Kathleen -Peacefully at the Humber River Regional Hospital, Toronto, on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at the age of 65 years. Beloved sister of Arthur McArthur (Madeleine) of Cornwall, Gweneth Thirlwell (Michael) of Montreal, and Marjorie McArthur of Cornwall. Predeceased by sister Nancy Cooper (late Fraser) and brother Garry McArthur (Catherine). Dear daughter of the late James McArthur and Gweneth Gordon. Kathleen was a wonderful aunt and will be sadly missed by nephew Jamie McArthur (Audrey), and nieces; Tracey Moffatt (Scott), Jean Thirlwell, Monique Thirlwell (Michael), Tara McArthur (Matthew), Sarah Thirlwell (Brent), Lori-Anne Leroux (Stephane), Gweneth Michelle Thirlwell, and Julia MacIntosh (Steven). Kathleen will also be greatly missed by many great-nieces and nephews. Her love of life and family has influenced and touched all who knew and loved her. MILLER, Dr. Charles - FRCS - Edinburgh; FRCS - England; FRCS - Canada. Dr. Charles Miller passed away on February 23, 2015 at the Cornwall Community Hospital with his family at his side. Beloved husband of Cheryl Miller (Prosser) and much loved father of daughter Kristine Boulerice (Claude) of Kanata and son Trent (Debbi) of Toronto. He will be sadly missed by his two grandchildren Matthew and Michael of Kanata. Predeceased by his father James, mother Elizabeth (Wight) and his brother Ian. He was born in Kelso, Scotland on February 7, 1927. He immigrated to Canada in 1964 and worked in Saskatchewan and Manitoba until moving to Ontario in 1967. In May, 1967 he helped establish the branch of the St. Lawrence Medical Clinic in Ingleside and performed surgery at Winchester District Memorial Hospital. He opened his surgical office in Cornwall in October 1969 and worked at both the General and Hotel Dieu Hospitals performing General, Thoracic and Vascular surgery plus Permanent Transvenous Pacemakers. To meet the needs of his patients and the community he started the Pacemaker Clinic in Cornwall in 1971. He wrote multiple publications and was working on a publication for Vascular Surgery when he retired in July, 1994. An informal memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 31, 2015 at the PARKER FUNERAL HOME , 28 Sir James Morris Drive, Morrisburg between 1:00-3:00 p.m. Burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Mariatown. HAWCO, Mary Bertha - Born in 1919 in Lithuania. Her parents immigrated to Canada and raised their family in Sydney Mines, Cape Breton. She married Bernard "Ben" Hawco and together they raised her only son Raymond. Eventually they moved to Cornwall, Ontario where they took great pleasure spending most of their time with grandsons Ray and Wally. Her immediate family moved back to Nova Scotia and she herself returned after the loss of her beloved husband Ben. She is survived by her son Raymond as well as her grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, Dalya, Jalina, Bryden, Lyra, and Spencer, also a brother Georgie and family in Guelph, Ontario. Her memory is one of great devotion to her loved ones.
