CORNWALL, Ontario – Volunteers have been hard at work to get the Optimist rink ready for the public.
The rink should be open in the first few days of 2019, it all depends on how the weather co-operates this week.
In addition, the Optimist Canteen will be open this week starting on Friday, Jan. 4, 2019.
The canteen will be open Fridays 5p .m. to 9 p.m., Saturdays 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Sundays 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. The canteen will be serving hot dogs, fries, burgers, coffee and hot chocolate.
The Optimist rink is a great place to go to enjoy a skate and a hot chocolate.
