You need to know that the Corus Caring Hearts Radiothon ended up raising $157,860.00 during their 13-hour period last Thursday from 6:00am and 7:00pm and that magnificent effort pushed the total raised during the 17-year span of their Radiothon over the $2 million mark. Simply a great achievement and all with the ongoing support of Cornwall and area communities. “To all those who donated this year, KUDOS to all individuals, companies, organizations and sponsors who made this special moment happen.”
You need to know that it was a real pleasure for the Cornwall Square team as well as the WBG group to host the 2023 Corus Caring Hearts Radiothon in support of the Cornwall Community Hospital Foundation, a most joyous experience and we are all looking forward to the 2024 Radiothon edition.
You need to know that both Daily Chuck and Juntos officially opened to rave revues on last Friday after a quiet prior 2-day “soft opening” to provide the newly hired restaurant staff with a taste of the pace and operational protocols under “live” conditions. Those 2 days, Wednesday and Thursday, were extremely successful as customers noticed that the 2 newest Quick Service Restaurants’ closure gates were in the up position and were actually serving food. The smash burgers, the tater tots, the burritos and the tacos were flying across the counter to waiting customers who sat down in the new FOOD HALL and proceeded to devour their food.
Did you know that Spirit Halloween opened for business last Wednesday for a waiting group of customers eager to get a glimpse of all the scarry offerings for sale in the store. The store will be open until the first week of November. Come in and check out all the neat items that Kim and her team have for sale this year.
Did you know that next Monday, September 4th, 2023, is Labour Day which is a Statutory Holiday and Cornwall Square will be closed that day and will reopen on Tuesday September 5th, 2023, at its usual time. Enjoy the day with your family.
