CORNWALL, Ontario – Rachel’s Kids and Kids Korner partnered up to help three kids have a merry Christmas.

Connor Wilson, Max Nuttal and Lily Douglas are all under the age of five and all are fighting cancer.

They were invited to come to Kids Korner on Sunday, Dec. 9 and for five minutes, they were given the run of the store and were allowed to grab all the toys they could carry. Their siblings were not left out either though. Each sibling also got two minutes to go through the store.

The gifts were paid for by Rachel’s Kids and Kids Korner who split the cost equally between them.

“It is really heartwarming,” said Dr. Rachel Navaneelan. “I can’t even describe it.”

Connor Wilson is two-and-a-half and he has been fighting leukemia since he was 17 months old.

“We were very surprised when we got the call,” said Connor’s father Ryan. “Rachel’s Kids has been so much help. They’ve helped us with some renovations of our home, and provided us with gift cards for turkey.”

Some of the gifts that Connor got at Kids Korner included a construction set and some Legos.
