CORNWALL, Ontario – The Kinsmen Club of Cornwall will be holding their 14th annual Kinsmen Pizza for Charity Night on March 27 at the Best Western in Cornwall.
Formerly known as the Kinsmen Pizza Party, it might have a new name, but there will still be the same great pizza. The name is not the only thing that is new though.
“The Kinsmen Club of Cornwall has had a pizza party for 14 years and the event has been a success for everyone,” said event Chairman Rick Shaver. “It is time that we give the event a new look as we continue to be raising money for local charities and organizations that require additional funding not available to them from other sources.”
The event will feature local pizza, local entertainment and local celebrities who will help present the cheques.
Over 220 people are expected to attend with each being treated to two slices of pizza, bread sticks, French fries, sauce, plus a dessert pizza from Dairy Queen.
For those who want their fill of pizza, there will also be a pizza buffet featuring eight local pizzerias.
A new twist this year, is that enjoyment of the pizza will be the main focus, and judging of the pizzas will not take place.
The silent and live auctions will be returning this year. The silent auction will be done from the back room and place along the south wall. There will be 20 baskets of local gifts, as well as two live actions.
Tickets are $27.54 and must be purchased online through the following website: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/82555276053

“Serving the communities greatest need is an objective of Kinsmen and this event helps us do that,” said Shaver.
