Earth Day is an annual event encouraging environmental protection. It was first celebrated on April 22, 1970.
The theme for Earth Day 2023 is: Invest in Our Planet.
The message behind this years theme is that to get climate change under control, we all have to work together. That includes big corporations, governments, and individuals.
There are many ways that you can take part in Earth Day, including visiting Eco Day at Lamoureux Park from 10am to 2pm.
