Passed away at the Cornwall Community Hospital, McConnell Site on Tuesday, February 17, 2009, age 85 years. Beloved wife of the late George Rawlinson. Loved daughter of the late Donald (Dan) and Eva (Haines) Cameron. Dear sister of Irma Cameron, twin sister Ola Tyo (late Cecil), both of Cornwall, Ontario, Donalda Francia (Frank) of Massena, NY and Malcolm Cameron of Delta, BC. Predeceased by her brothers, Robert, George, Duncan, Neil and Hugh Cameron and by her sister, Rowena Cameron. Rested at the Wilson Funeral Home, Cornwall. The Mass of the Resurrection with Commendation and Farewell was celebrated in St. Columban’s Roman Catholic Church on Feb. 19. Rite of Committal at a later date in Woodlawn Cemetery, Cornwall.

HAWN – Dorothy

Passed away at Versa Care Centre, Cornwall, Ontario, on February 16, 2009, age 90 years. Beloved wife of the late Willard Hawn. Much loved mother of Joyce Siegenthaler (Hans), Marjorie Hawn, both of Cornwall and Dwain (Jeannette) of Martintown, Ontario. Sadly missed by her grandchildren, Tammy (Les Ganton), Steven (Jennifer), Monica Siegenthaler, Michelle Sauve, Eileen Struthers (Eric), Crystal Hawn and 7 great-grandchildren. Mr. Elie Leduc, of Cornwall, Ontario, (retired truck driver, farmer and shepherd of Alexandria, Ontario; in Cornwall, he was a construction worker for the entire Seaway Project), age 84 years. Beloved husband for 56 years of Ethel (Major) Leduc. Passed away at Chateau Gardens Lancaster Long-term Care Facility, Lancaster, Ontario, on Monday, February 9, 2009. Mr. John Alexander Allinotte, age 95 years, born on January 4, 1914 in Glen Roy, Ontario. Beloved son of the late Peter Allinotte and Josephine (née Sauvé). Predeceased by his six siblings, Minnie, Louis, Annie, Francis, Alex and Helen. Survived by is wife of 63 years, Lucille (née Cuerrier), formerly of Alexandria, Ontario. “Johnny” is survived by his two sons, Richard (Judy) of St. Andrews West, Ontario and Orville Kimble (Barbara) of Massena, New York. Survived by his three grandchildren, Scott Kimble of Massena, New York, Stephanie Lalonde (Allan) and Peter (Michele) of St. Andrews West and by five great-grandchildren, Scottie Kimble of Massena, Justin and Cole Lalonde and John and Rachel Allinotte of St. Andrews West. “Farmer John” will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Beloved husband of Anita Lalonde (née Sabourin). Loving father of Rene Lalonde (Denise) of Moose Creek and Andrea Nault (Richard) of Orleans. Proud grandfather of Patrick and Julie Nault. Predeceased by his brothers, Henri, Phillias, Fortuna, Louis and Aime and by his sisters, Antoinette, Annette and Alice. Son of the late Adelard Lalonde and the late Elise Lalonde (née Racine). Passed away at the Maxville Manor on Saturday, February 7, 2009. Mr. Donald Joseph McDougall of Maxville, Ontario, formerly of Alexandria, Ontario, (W.W. II Veteran and member of the Black Watch Highlanders of Montreal), age 91 years. Dear brother of Jean McKerral (late Pat) of Calgary, Alberta and son of the late Rory Archie McDougall and the late Janet McCosham. Predeceased by two brothers, Archie and Roddie McDougall and three sisters, Marion McDonald, Rita McDonald and Margaret Lyons.
