LONG SAULT, Ontario – Even with the rain the Easter Bunny was busy in Long Sault on Saturday, April 20, 2019.

The Long Sault, Ingleside, and Lost Villages Lions Club organized their third annual Easter Egg Hunt, and in addition to meeting the Easter Bunny, there were also eggs for children to find, egg and spoon races, candy to win and more.

Taking place at the South Stormont Township Hall, there were eggs hidden around the building. For $5 children were given a chance to participate in the hunt, the games and got a hot dog or hamburger.

The money raised went to support Lions Club projects in the South Stormont community.

“We love kids and doing a lot of fun things for children,” said Sharon Potvin, Lions Club President.

The event ran from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and by lunch 100 kids had already participated in the hunt.
