WARRANT

CORNWALL, Ontario – Jose Ushinahua, 34, of Summerstown was arrested on July 3, 2019 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man failed to attend for prints on March 11, 2019 and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On July 3, 2019, he was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and released to appear in court on July 30, 2019.

THREATS

 CORNWALL, Ontario – Matthew Callwood, 28, of Cornwall was arrested on July 3, 2019 and charged with two counts of threats. It is alleged on June 18, 2019, during an argument with a man and woman known to him, Callwood made threats to harm both individuals and police were subsequently contacted to investigate. On July 3, 2019, the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and released to appear in court on Aug. 13, 2019.
